Deallocate a call from TAPI Line

Sep 25, 2013 at 8:25 AM
Having just joined I am really pleased to see ATAPI activity after using JulMar ATAPI for 2 years.

Can you please advise the best practice to Deallocate an incoming line / call which is not required to be processed by my software. For example only filtered incoming calls need to trigger a pop-up alert, the other calls are not of interest. I have done this with the old ATAPI version by deallocating the line using Dangerous handle with a new function added, I see that the dangerous handle has now been fixed.

If there is no method to do this I would like to send my method to you for consideration to be included in the source.

I think you can just call Drop or Dispose on the call - either one will get rid of it. What kind of experience do you want the caller to have?

Thanks Mark. I will try these and let you know the results/

Drop() Works perfectly.
